Jarid S. Johnson, Producer


Jarid S. Johnson, the founder of AMP, has been making images of musicians since taking his still camera to the Allman Brothers 1973 New Year’s Eve show at the Cow Palace in San Francisco.
 
Jarid has directed and shot live music at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA since 1989. For Bill Graham Presents, he documented many historic music events including Lollapalooza, HORDE, Laguna Seca Days, Squaw Valley Summer Music Festival, WOMAD, and the Tibetan Freedom Concert.
 
His DVD credits include Neil Young, Paul McCartney, Phil Lesh, Incubus, Los Lobos, Ozomatli, Trey Anastasio, Joe Satriani, Richard Thompson, and many other artists.
 
In 2002 he was a member of the documentary crew that shot the inaugural Bonnaroo Music Festival; each year he shoots the Outside Lands Music & Art Fair, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, and Las Tortugas Music Festival.

Peter Gilmore runs Monkey Tunes, known on the Internet Music Archive for their extraordinary live band recordings. They have recorded at just about every venue in the San Francisco Bay Area.
 
Peter is one of the house recording engineers at the Las Tortugas Music Festival and his list of recordings on the Internet Music Archive is epic: Phil Lesh & Friends, Furthur, The Dead, Jackie Greene, Railroad Earth, ALO, Steve Kimock, David Nelson Band, New Monsoon, and many others.
